Newfoundland and Labrador Chief Medical Officer of Health announced the “A Foundation for Living with COVID-19” plan. The plan introduces five alert levels to gradually re-open businesses and services in Newfoundland and Labrador. The province is currently in Alert Level 5. Effective immediately, households may now spend time with one other household bubble. The province is expected to move to Alert Level 4 on Monday May 11, 2020 but is subject to change based on a continuous assessment of transmission patterns and other factors in the province.
