  • Make available $15 million in non-repayable support for businesses in the territories to help address impacts of COVID-19; and
  • Provide an additional $25 million to Nutrition North Canada to increase subsidies so families can afford much-needed nutritious food and personal hygiene products.

The Prime Minister also announced enhanced enforcement of the Quarantine Act. Effective at midnight tonight, travellers arriving in Canada are required to provide a self-isolation plan before or upon their arrival. Those who do not have a plan will be required to self-isolate in a hotel, even if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19.
